Traditional Attire in Nigeria

“This photo was shot in Taraba, Nigeria.
This man is adorned in the colourful traditional attire of the Chamba tribe.
The Chamba tribe are a people located in the north eastern part of Nigeria, very close to the Cameroonian border, especially in Taraba and Adamawa states. They are know mostly for farming yam.
I had the opportunity to encounter their beautiful traditional attire and update my knowledge about the people of my own country.
I believe that a single trip is worth 10 books. Reading is great, but traveling has proven to be the most interesting source of knowledge and exposure for me esspecially about the people of my own country.” Anthony Obayomi
