Persistence in Nigeria
“This picture was captured in Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria. It’s very common in the state to see the women more involved in the farm work than the men. They have a kind of unrelenting strength, which drives them to do all they can in order to make ends meet. I live around my school, and I see these women every day, going to and returning from their farms with lots of load, considerably too heavy for their age. I just get to admire their drive, hard work and persistent minds.” Judeson
